StandUp4Jesus.Org exists as a spiritually open door — welcoming anyone who is seeking, questioning, hurting, growing, or simply curious about the things of God. Whether you are a lifelong Seventh-day Adventist, a member of another Christian tradition, someone exploring faith for the first time, an agnostic, or an atheist — you are welcome here.

This is not a site that exists to promote a denomination or argue theology for its own sake. It exists to point every visitor toward Jesus Christ, to provide resources that meet people wherever they are in their spiritual journey, and to equip believers with tools to grow deeper in their walk with God.

StandUp4Jesus.Org offers a rich and growing library of spiritual resources. To find them, open the Subjects menu at the top of any page: it lists every area of interest on the site, from the chapter-by-chapter Bible studies to Last Days, Christian Living and more. Music, Prayer Requests and YouTube each have their own place in the main menu.

A Spanish edition of this site is under way at standup4jesus.org/es/. Every page is translated and then read by a Spanish speaker before it is published. Scripture is quoted from the Reina-Valera, and Ellen G. White from her published Spanish editions — the words as they were published, not our rendering of them.

That section is only beginning, and more languages will follow, one at a time, as each can be done to the same standard. It is slower than translating everything at once, and it is the only way a reader in another language gets the Bible in the words they already know. The Gospel has no borders, and neither does this ministry.

Website Symbolism

I finished getting the FavIcon.ico file designed for this website!  The letters “SU4J” are now arranged with the “SU” larger and in the background in a medium blue color, and the letters “4J” are a little bit smaller and in the foreground in the color red.  The background is white to symbolize the Righteousness of Christ.  The color blue represents loyalty and obedience, and of course, the color red represents blood and sacrifice.  What happens when you mix red and blue paint?  Or light?  You get the color purple!  And purple represents Royalty! 

So what can we say about all of this?  If you are willing to obey God’s Law (the Ten Commandments – Exodus 20:3-17) and die to yourself, you will be Royalty someday in the Royal Family of God! 

"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;"

"15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

And please don’t forget that whether you’re a man or a woman, if you do these things mentioned above, you are part of the woman who will be pictured on the header of this website someday soon!  Want Bible proof? “To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ”.  1 Peter 2:4, 5  KJV 

The Melchizedek Priesthood!

These things all point to the Biblical message of the Melchizedek Priesthood! The Bible calls you a priest or priestess of the Melchizedek Order, with Jesus as Your High Priest of that same Melchizedek Order!

Who is this woman on the header of this website? She is described in Song Of Solomon 6:10  KJV: “Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners”?  To say the same thing in modern English: “Who is she as unafraid of her day as the dawning sun?  Who is as beautiful as the moon?  Who is as strong and penetrating as the sun?  And who is as AWESOME as a beautiful army with banners?”  Answer: The True Church Of Jesus Christ!

And who is “The True Church Of Jesus Christ”?  You can find an obvious answer in Song Of Solomon Chapter 5, which clearly describes the “Great Disappointment” on October 22, 1844, and the group known at that time as the “Millerite Movement,” which later became the Seventh Day Adventist church in 1863!  This is solid evidence of the position held by the Seventh-Day Adventist church!  We must stop apologizing for our so-called “arrogance” and start preaching with the power of the Holy Spirit, the 3 Angels’ Messages, including the fourth Angel of Revelation 18!  We need to STAND UP for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

How These Studies Are Written

Many of the Bible studies on this site — the chapter-by-chapter series through Genesis, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Jeremiah, Revelation, and others — are produced with the help of an artificial-intelligence assistant, Claude, made by Anthropic. Arthur decides which books to study, how the chapters are grouped, and what each study is to say. The assistant helps with the drafting, gathers and organizes the research, and builds the pages.

Every quotation is verified before it is published. Scripture is checked word for word against the King James Version, and every statement from Ellen G. White against her published books — checked by software against the primary texts, not from memory. A study does not go up until its quotations match the sources exactly.

Nothing is published that Arthur has not read and found faithful to Scripture. The tool is new; the standard is not. The convictions in these pages, and the responsibility for them before God, are his.

How This Ministry Began

StandUp4Jesus.Org was born from a direct calling. God clearly impressed upon the heart of founder Arthur E. Baldwin of Rialto, California, that He wanted a website created for Him — a place on the internet dedicated entirely to His glory and the spiritual growth of all who visit. As Arthur was listening to Fountainview Academy perform the classic hymn “Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus,” the name came immediately and unmistakably: that’s the website name.

That moment of divine clarity became the foundation of everything you find here.

Arthur’s Faith Journey

Arthur Baldwin grew up steeped in Scripture. His father was a pastor and evangelist in the Seventh-day Adventist denomination, and faith was not a Sunday tradition in their home — it was the very fabric of daily life. From an early age, Arthur was immersed in the Word of God, in prayer, and in the conviction that Jesus Christ is Lord.

That foundation deepened dramatically in 1983, when God gave Arthur a personal Bible study on Righteousness by Faith — an uninterrupted, Spirit-led experience that lasted three and a half hours. It was not a seminary class or a church program. It was God Himself, opening the Scriptures and revealing the heart of the Gospel in a way that forever marked Arthur’s understanding of grace, faith, and salvation.

Arthur holds no formal pastoral credentials — and he needs none. His authority comes from decades of walking with God, studying His Word, and being led by His Spirit. The Bible itself is his seminary, and the Holy Spirit his teacher.
