A Note From A Friend In Pakistan

A while back, when I was still foolish enough to be on Facebook, I happened to meet Obaid and got acquainted with him. He asked me to give a few sermons to a group of people and he acted as an interpreter to translate English to Urdu, which is the main language in Pakistan. You can find some of the sermons I gave on this website in both article form and video form!

Just a few days ago Obaid was brave enough to write a short article for this website! And I’m going to publish it here! Here’s what Obaid wrote:

Hello everyone , greetings in the matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

My name is Obaid Peter from Pakistan.

Today I’m very thankful to God for this opportunity to share some thoughts with you about God’s nature.

Psalm 145:17

“The Lord is righteous in all His ways , and Holy in all His works “.

We regularly praise God for His righteousness and thank Him for His faithfulness. Because God is righteous, He is pure and good in all His ways . He will never act with evil intent because evil is contrary to His nature. And because He is faithful His goodness never fails. He never forgets us, or misses opportunity to show His love for us.

Prayer:

Gracious and Loving God, today I just want to thank you and acknowledge that how wonderful you are. You have proven your love over and over by all of the good things that you have given to me. Most of all, you have given me your very self. Your faithfulness never wavers and is never half-hearted. Thank you very much for all you do for me, you restore my soul even I fall in sin, help me to eliminate my sinful nature through the power of Jesus’ precious blood. Amen.
