World History Explained – Part 1

World History Explained—Part 1 is based on Daniel Chapter 7. To help explain the meaning of Daniel 7, we will refer to the quotation below and other supporting Bible quotations.

"1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.

2 Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.

5 And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.

6 After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.

7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

15 I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

16 I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.

17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.

18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;

20 And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.

21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;

22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

28 Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart."

To understand this chapter, we must compare it with Daniel 2. The same story is presented two times to emphasize its importance and ensure our understanding is clear!

The time chart above clearly shows the legitimate Biblical “markers” in history.

What Does The Lion Represent?

This story in Daniel 7 repeats Daniel chapter 2, and each beast represents the same kingdoms in the same order as those listed in Daniel chapter 2! Anyone can easily see in secular history that the lion with wings was one of the main artistic themes in the ancient city of Babylon.

And why does it say the wings were plucked, and the lion became like a man with a heart? Read Daniel Chapter 4 and you will see that the first King of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, became a worshipper of the TRUE GOD! That’s why!

What Does The Bear Represent?

Well, if we follow the logic of a repeating story, then it should represent the Medes and Persians. I could not find any “bear-like” art in the Mede or Persian history, but the Persian empire’s primary religion was Zoroastrianism, which is nearly the same thing as Satan worship. In any case, the Kingdom was very war-oriented and did much damage to their enemies!

What Does The Leopard Represent?

The Leopard in Daniel 7 has four wings, indicating that the king of Greece was very quick to conquer other enemies—and this was definitely true of Alexander the Great!

What Does The Fourth Beast Represent?

In Daniel chapter 7, Daniel neglects to mention that the fourth beast “has seven heads.” But we know this is true because of the same story in Revelation 13! How do we know that this is the “same story?” They both mention that there were originally 10 horns, 3 of which were uprooted by the “little horn” with a face like a man who speaks “great words against the Most High” (Daniel 7:20, 25) or blasphemy (Revelation 13:5-8)! The stories both use the same description!

How can we be sure what “blasphemy” means?

"27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

30 I and my Father are one.

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God."

John 10:27-33  KJV

So, here we see that it is blasphemy to claim that you are God when you are NOT! Can you think of anyone who has done that since 538 AD and still does it today? Yes, the office of the papacy (also known as the pope)! So the little horn in Daniel 7 and Revelation 13 is the office of the papacy!

Question: Who is represented by the beast with seven heads and ten horns?

"1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time."

Satan Is The Beast With 7 Heads And 10 Horns!

Please notice that the beast with seven heads and ten horns is Satan, according to verses 3 and 9 of Revelation 12! And the “little horn” is growing out of this beast with seven heads and ten horns! Then, how closely is the office of the papacy associated with Satan? The “little horn” is growing out of Satan! The office of the papacy would not exist if it were not for the leadership of Satan! Satan has assisted the papacy in planning their strategy to win the war against the ONLY TRUE God ever since 538 AD! This relationship did not end in 1798 AD but continues to this day!

This does not mean that members of the Catholic Church are Satan worshippers. There are many honest and God-fearing Christians in the Catholic Church. And God has a very special message for them and the fallen Protestant Sunday worshippers, too!

"1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities."

What Has The Papacy Accomplished?

Please notice that this is a repetition of the “2nd and 3rd Angels’ Messages” in Revelation 14:8-11! Please also notice that Exodus 20:8-11 lists the 4th commandment of God’s Law, which both Satan and the papacy have done everything in their power to eradicate from the Earth! This includes everything from the Theory of Evolution, the public school system, the degree system, the Biblical “higher critics”, to the practice of witchcraft and Satan worship! All of these things are the direct result of the work of the papacy and its associated “secret societies!”

Let’s see: Does this fit with the other things we know about the papacy from secular history?

"19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;

20 And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.

22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

Take any Catholic Catechism and turn to the Ten Commandments section. Compare that list of Ten Commandments with the list found in Exodus 20:3-17 in the King James Version of the Bible! What is the difference? Commandment #2 (Exodus 20:4-6 KJV) has been completely removed! Oops, that leaves only 9 Commandments! So they divided the tenth Commandment into two parts! This also moves the 4th Commandment into slot number 3 rather than 4! Then, they removed most of the Sabbath Commandment and reduced it to “Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy!” The full Sabbath Commandment in the King James Version is found in verses 8-11 of Exodus 20.

This proves beyond any doubt that the papacy has fulfilled the prophecy found in Daniel 7:25

25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."

This is another kind of “blasphemy” against God! God never changes! God would never change the Ten Commandments in the slightest detail! What gives the pope the right to claim authority to do such a thing? NOTHING in the Bible!

In secular history, what happened between 538 AD and 1798 AD? The papacy engaged in persecution of many different groups of Christians and killed more of them than any war in the history of the Earth! We call that period “The Dark Ages” because it was during this time that it was illegal to have any copy of the Bible in ANY language in your possession! Who enforced this law? The papacy did! Their attitude toward the Bible has never changed! But now they have a different tactic. They help produce many translations of the Bible designed to mislead those who study them! They still hate the King James Version with an intense hatred! Why? Because the KJV exposes them for who they truly are!

They prefer to call any period in that same range “the middle ages” because they don’t want people to think of them as the ones responsible for spiritual darkness, but this is precisely what legacy they have always pursued!

By the way, did you know that during World War II, both Hitler AND the Allies (more specifically, the USA) BOTH purposely targeted Protestant Christian areas to bomb? No? That’s because the papacy has always wanted to exterminate those who bring Biblical truths to light! The Jews were an obvious target because they were the ones who had consistently protected the Bible in its original languages! But Protestant Christians were also targeted by both sides because of the desire of the papacy to exterminate those who stood for the Truth! The targets chosen were not “accidental” but very well planned!

And yet Lucifer and the papacy’s plan failed because God can protect His faithful people!

If you are a member of the Catholic church, I’m not attacking you! I love you! I don’t want you to be associated with the papacy in the eyes of God because that puts you in line for the seven last plagues, as shown in Revelation 18. It’s time to leave the Catholic church and join the fight for the REAL God of this Universe! I will be happy to see any of you join our ranks in the Seventh Day Adventist church! I have to say these things because I don’t want your blood to be on my hands before God!

SDAs are not perfect, far from it! You will still need to focus on what God’s Word says and NOT on what other SDAs are doing! Many SDA members are going to be “shaken out” by God because they have not “loved the truth” of God’s Word! This is the “Great Controversy Between Christ And Satan,” and there’s going to be great turmoil, especially within the SDA church! Only those who love God and obey His Word will be saved! (See John 14:15-21 and Revelation 22:14 KJV)

If you really love God, then you will love His Word, the Bible! Don’t just say that you love Him…show Him by your actions! Look up the nearest SDA church in your area and knock on the office door! Or better yet, show up on Saturday morning at around 9:30 AM and attend the services! Find the pastor and ask for Bible studies!

Jesus will return very, very soon! When you get to heaven, please look me up and tell me your story! We have too much to do before then, and there’s no time to relax right now! Be faithful to Jesus Christ and His messages!
