Video – God’s People Delivered | The King is Coming

Jesus warned that at the time of the end, there will be great tribulation such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time. For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places. Is this warning not more applicable today than ever before? All around us, we see the devastation caused by wars and natural disasters, yet all these are the beginnings of sorrow.

Then they shall deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you, and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. Love for others has become a foreign concept in the world today as Satan’s followers unleash violence upon others daily to gratify their own self-centered ambitions. As Earth’s history is closing, he is putting forth all his efforts to entice more and more to turn away from the light of God’s word, and because the people love darkness more than the light, the persecutions will worsen as mankind will endeavor to consume the light.

Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child, and children will rise against their parents and have them put to death. Your enemies will be right in your own household. However, Jesus said When these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near.

Jesus Is Coming!

Despite the overwhelming darkness, Jesus calls us to look unto him and keep our light shining, and he reassures that he will remain faithful and return soon. Then, at the moment when it’s the darkest on earth, the trumpet will sound, and as lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, the king will appear in the heavens to gather his children and take them home!

The King Is Coming!

The marked place is empty 
No more traffic in the streets 
All the builders tools are silent 
No more time to harvest wheat
Busy housewives cease their labors
In the court rooms no debate 
Work on earth has been suspended 
As the King comes through the gate.

Praise God, He's coming for me!

Verse 2
Happy faces line the hallways
Those whose lives have been redeemed
Broken homes that he has mended 
Those from prison He's set free 
Little children and the aged 
Hand in hand stand all aglow 
Those who were crippled, broken, ruined 
Now clad in garments white as snow 

Verse 3
I can hear the chariots rumble 
I can see the marching throng 
And the flurry of God's trumpets 
Spells the end of sin and wrong 
Regal robes are now unfolding 
Heaven's grandstands all in place 
Heaven's choir is now assembled 
Start to sing Amazing Grace!

Oh, The King is coming,

I just the trumpet sounding,
And now His face I see!
Yes, The King is coming,
The King is coming,
Praise God, He's coming for me!
Praise God, He's coming for me!

The captives will be set free, while their captors will fall into their own snares. The pursued will be rescued, and their pursuers will flee in terror. Those who mourn shall rejoice, and those who rejoiced shall weep. The humble will be exalted, and those who are exalted will be humbled. And the dead in Christ? Well, we’ll look at this in our next episode.
