Lucifer (aka Satan)

Lucifer (aka Satan)

Lucifer (aka Satan)

Lucifer (aka Satan): The name Lucifer means “Light Bearer”, which indeed was very accurate in describing him before he rebelled against God! But this is no longer the case!

Another resource: Decide The Side

Remember the Beast first described in Daniel that has 7 heads and 10 horns? Then the same Beast shows up in Revelation? These two references are both describing him and his army of evil angels! And how do we know this?

"1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him".

Revelation 12:1-9 KJV
"12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations"!

Isaiah 14:12 KJV

From the two passages in the Bible listed above we can see that Lucifer is another name for the “great red dragon” with seven heads and 10 horns! In Isaiah we are told that Lucifer “fell from heaven” and in Revelation 12 it says that “his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the Earth”.

And later in verse 7 we see that Michael (Jesus in His “pre-incarnate” form) fights with the “dragon” and then repeated in verse 9 we see that Satan and “his angels” were cast out of heaven to this earth, which also clarifies who were the 1/3 of “the stars of heaven”! Notice that the ONLY one mentioned in all of the Bible as “falling from heaven” must be the same being identified in Isaiah 14:12 as “Lucifer”!
