The first Angel’s Message describes the kind of worship that God wants. The Second Angel’s Message warns us about the fallen nature of most Christian denominations, which are identified as “Babylon.” The Third Angel’s Message warns us about the consequences of worshipping the “Beast” or his image. The Fourth Angel’s Message expands on the Second Angel’s Message but goes into more detail concerning “Babylon.”

And how do we know if any Christian denomination qualifies as part of “Babylon”? If they worship on Sunday, then they are part of Babylon because in no way does the Bible support worshipping on that day! Rather, throughout the Bible, only worship on Saturday, the “seventh day of the week,” is supported! This is the most important identifier of Babylon. There are other identifying doctrines such as “eternal hell”, a conscious spirit apart from the body, self “godhood”, or any doctrine that cannot be properly supported by the Bible.
