Deceptions

The Very First Lie!

What was the very first lie Satan told? “You shall not surely die” was the first lie Satan told to Eve!

4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Genesis 3:4, 5 KJV

And where has this lie shown up? In the idea that the soul is “separate from the body”! Obviously this is a lie!

7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Genesis 2:7  KJV

Here we see an equation: Physical Body + Breath of God = Soul! So, if you remove the “Breath of God”, we call that “death”, and that means that we no longer have a soul! Only a living person is equal to a “Soul”! But most Christians believe that there is a conscious soul, separate from the body which travels to either Heaven or Hell at death! But this doctrine has absolutely no Biblical foundation! It’s a lie!

The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Ezekiel 18:20  KJV

The Soul Can Die!

Here we see that the “soul” can die, so the logical conclusion is that there is no consciousness after death! And the rest of the same verse refers to living human beings! This Further demonstrates the truth of the equation from Genesis 2:7! And exposes the lie that souls go on living after death!

9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.

11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.

12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.

13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.

14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.

15 And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.

What Kind Of God?

Now, if Lazarus’ soul went to Heaven at his death, then what kind of God would make him leave Heaven and return to the Earth in 5 days? The Earth is full of misery, death, persecution, and all kinds of evil! Answer the question; what kind of God would do that?

Jesus said Himself “Lazarus sleepeth”. There is no conscious thought in sleep other than dreams! And logically Jesus was presenting the idea that Lazarus had no consciousness, but was sleeping in his grave!

So, is there a soul separate from the body? Obviously not! It’s a lie! And it is Deadly because it leaves “the door open” to believing in ghosts (really Satan and his angels)!
