What Is Loyalty?

Another Resource: The Desire Of Ages

Loyalty is found only in a person who has love that is beyond measurement for someone else! Yes, they would gladly die for that person! They will do almost anything they are asked to do by the one they love! As sinful human beings, we ALL understand this concept completely!

So why is it that we can’t seem to understand the importance of keeping the Ten Commandments? In the following passage Jesus makes love and loyalty to Himself crystal clear!

"15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him".

John 14:15-21 KJV

In other words, if we love God, we will do our best to demonstrate that love by keeping the Ten Commandments! In verses 16 and 17, Jesus makes it perfectly clear that receiving the Holy Spirit depends upon a loving relationship that results in respecting and keeping His Law!

This obviously should include the 4th Commandment. This commandment is the only one that begins with the word “Remember,” which is prophetic because it is the one that everyone in the world has apparently forgotten!

"8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it".

Exodus 20:8-11 KJV

Do you attend church on Sunday? Why? Even the Catholic Church knows that the Bible Sabbath has ALWAYS BEEN Saturday! If you have ANY doubt about that, just read their article at the following link:

Here’s a small excerpt from the above article:

Self-Contradictory, and Suicidal.” Page 1

Now, do I have your attention? But there’s a lot more than that! They also have an excellent Bible study that they take you through step by step!

So, how “loyal” can any Protestant denomination be to God and the Bible while worshipping on Sunday? Before answering that, please note that there were only two “institutions” before Adam and Eve sinned: Marriage and the Sabbath! And the first full 24 hours of life that Adam and Eve experienced together with God were on the very first Sabbath Day that ever existed! And what a special Day that was!
