Creation And Art
There’s an artist named Nathan Greene who has created numerous commissioned works. Just tonight, I saw a program in which he was interviewed about his experiences. The picture above is one of his favorite pieces. The embedded video below is the program that I watched earlier this evening.

Healing is the result of processes that our Creator designed into our bodies! This is my reason behind the title of this article. But physical healing is only half of the story. The other half is spiritual healing!
"26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."
Genesis 1:26, 27 KJV
What does it mean when God says, “Let us make man in our image”? It means that God created both Adam and Eve to be like Him in character and personality. He made us enjoy being caretakers of the animals and the natural world. He made us creative and thoughtful. He made us loving and unselfish. And He made us to be intimate with Him.
When Satan tempted Eve, he caused Eve to doubt the Word of God and His character. And the relationship with God was broken. But God’s loving character remained the same! And now God plans to marry His church and to be with us on Earth (after the Millennium) for all eternity!
When human artists use their talents, they are using the creativity that God designed into all of us. They are reflecting the image of God.
One of Satan’s most successful tactics to destroy hope in human lives is to remind us of our evil tendencies and cause us to doubt that God could love us! But God has given us a very special message to defeat this satanic method! And this is known as the Melchizedek Message! This message is deeply intimate toward us and lifts us to new spiritual heights! It is also the highest honor that God can bestow on us! We need to know this message intimately! This message brings hope, love for God, and motivation to serve Him better!
Do you feel far from God? Do you doubt His existence? He wants to have a personal relationship with you, one that is unique to you! The first step is to talk with Him honestly and openly! Some of the most significant pieces of art are found in God’s Creation! And these are His gifts to you! This is absolute proof of His love for you and His desire to be close to you! Here’s some evidence: His Fingerprint!
The Bible is God’s personal love letter to you! Within the pages of the Bible, you will find not only the truth about God and His Universe, but the very deepest depths of His love for you! The Song of Solomon is a very romantic book that describes the intimacy God longs to have with you!
Some Christians have experienced this kind of relationship with God, and a reasonably clear indication of this can be found in my article, “Now I Belong to Jesus.”
There’s a very personal prayer in the form of a new song: “My Heart Would Be Your Bethlehem“. My prayer is that you will find a relationship with God that is close enough for this prayer and song to become yours as well!
Perhaps a good place to start is with one of my personal experiences: “A Message Of Love And Hope“.
Why am I mentioning all of these seemingly unconnected ideas in this article? The answer is simple! Because the most fantastic piece of artwork that God can create can only be found in you when He has transformed you back into His image! Is this what you want? Then submit yourself to His molding. And cooperate with Him!
"1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."
2 Peter 1:1-4 KJV
The life and power to transform you are found ONLY in God’s Word, the Bible! These are not found in your pastor, in me, or in any other human being. You won’t find them in any TV show or in any other book. Your transformation cannot happen without God’s Word!
The King James Version of the Bible is the most accurate for interpreting Biblical doctrines. All other translations and paraphrases contain errors in the messages that God intends for us to understand. And satan has attacked this version with exceeding viciousness! Websites like BibleGateway.com and others may someday stop providing access to the KJV. It’s a good idea to get your own personal printed copy of the KJV while you still can!
And by the way, the KJV is THE version that the Waldenses died to protect! It is THE version that the papacy hates the most! This should tell you something important! The KJV is the best source of REAL Truth! And the papacy is NOT!
A Very Hard Message!
"31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.
42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
43 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.
44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
48 I am that bread of life.
49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God."
John 6:31-69 KJV
Eat His Flesh And Drink His Blood?
Did you notice verse 63 above? When Jesus spoke about “eating His flesh and drinking His blood,” He was referring to the act of studying the Word of God. When Jesus spoke to the disciples (John 6), He was still with them, so He was referring to the words He had spoken directly to them. But to us, He is referring to ALL of the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments! Jesus (via the Holy Spirit) is the real Author of the entire Bible!
So, when you humbly ask for the Holy Spirit to help you understand what you are studying in the Bible, you are “eating the flesh and drinking the blood of Jesus”! You are allowing Jesus to become part of you! (You are what you eat!)
So, turn off your TV (that’s junk food), grab the nearest KJV Bible, and pray for the Holy Spirit to teach you. Then, begin reading!
Here’s a great place to start!
"1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence."
John 14:1-31 KJV

In the last two verses above, Jesus informs the disciples that He is fulfilling the plans that He and His Father have laid for the redemption of mankind! In this way, Jesus is giving us an Example to follow!
"20 He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.
21 And he straitly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing;
22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.
23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels."
Luke 9:20-26 KJV
In verse 23 above, we see how we are to follow Jesus’ Example! The metaphor of “take up his cross daily” means that we choose to put our selfish nature to death and we choose to do the will of God, rather than our own will for that day!

Make no mistake! This sacrifice was very difficult for Jesus to make! Jesus had to pay the same price that the wicked will have to pay when they are permanently destroyed in the “lake of fire”. He had to die “without any hope of resurrection”! And He still chose to do that for you!
"17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
2 Corinthians 5:17-21 KJV
Do you understand what Jesus did? He became sin for you! He accepted the responsibility for all of your sins, past, present, and future, and then paid the price! And that price is permanent death without any hope! Indeed, Jesus was aware of the prophecies concerning His own death and resurrection on the third day. And He had faith in the Word of God! But that is NOT what He experienced on the Cross! No, He paid the full and complete price! He died without ANY hope! Yes, my friend, He loves you that much!

And what does Jesus ask you for in return? He asks for your true friendship, your heartfelt loyalty, for 10% of your income, and for your choice to die daily to your own selfish nature! And then He says, “If you love Me, keep My Commandments”. (John 14:15) By the way, His Ten Commandments are found in Exodus 20:3-17 KJV. Is this cost too high for you? I hope not.
