In Paradise | For the Beauty of the Earth
As I’m sure many of you can relate, growing up as a kid, my dad did everything he could to provide my sister and I with a beautiful, safe place to live. And he sacrificed a lot to give us kids the best education he could afford. Why? Because he loved us and he wanted to see us succeed.
Dad’s Love
One such memory of mine is when I was struggling to read, my dad went to the library, checked out as many children’s books as he could, and as we waited for my sister to get out of school, he would sit down with me while I read to him. By the end of the year, I was one of the best readers in my class. This is the kind of love God had for Adam and Eve in the garden.
Abba Father – Daddy!
The love of a caring father. Everything that could have been done for Adam and Eve was done. The Father in Heaven spared no detail to show Adam and Eve how much He loved them and that He had only their perfect happiness in mind. They were in paradise.

For the glory of the skies

For the beauty of each hour

Peace on earth and joy in heaven!
The reason I think it’s important to point out the beauty and perfection of Adam and Eve’s situation is to show that they had no excuse, no reason to distrust God’s intentions or instructions. And as we’ll see in the next episode, a decision was about to be presented before them that would test their trust to the limit.
